After the informational presentation, an engaging discussion followed, during which we, as project implementers, learned what troubles this target group the most, what challenges they face during job interviews, and how difficult it is for them to find suitable employment. We assured potential participants that we can address most of these barriers — from support in contacting employers and providing wage subsidies to assistance in other areas affecting their current difficult situation, such as legal or psychological help.
We can also help them choose appropriate retraining, fully cover its costs, and even reimburse travel expenses if the training involves commuting. We agreed that job seekers in higher age groups have a lot to offer to their future employers.
If you are in a similar situation, do not hesitate to ask for help. You can reach out to us within the KPZ II project — a comprehensive approach to employment — until mid-2027.
