National Round of the Skills+ 3.0 Competition

National

On 5 November 2025, the national round of the Skills+ 3.0 competition took place. In a great atmosphere, teams competed in the fields of horticulture and IT. All participants delivered excellent performances. Within a short time, they managed to prepare and plant garden beds, including paved pathways. At the computers, invitations for events were created, and graphic design was combined with common user software.
The competition was held at the Secondary School for Hearing-Impaired Students in Valašské Meziříčí, with the participation of teachers from the Secondary School of Professor Zdeněk Matějček in Ostrava. Ostrava could become another city where skills competitions for participants with special educational needs may expand in the future.

Choosing the winners was difficult, as the jury deliberated for a long time due to the outstanding results of all teams. In the end, the decision was based on criteria such as teamwork, the ability to plan and organize work effectively, and creative solutions while meeting the given requirements. The winning teams in both categories advance to the European round of the competition, which is planned for November 2026 in the Netherlands
